Blip Placer
Place blips on the RDR2 map with the game's own blip icons and styles, then copy the Lua or a VORP or RSG config block.
Read the docsStyle and icon
In RDR2 a blip is created from a style (a blipdata.ymt entry that sets the icon, colour and label) and can then be given another icon with SET_BLIP_SPRITE. Pick a style, and either keep its own icon or pick one of the game's 628 blip textures. New blips take the last settings you used.
The outputs
- Lua: a client script that creates every blip and removes them when the resource stops.
- vorp_stores: the
Blipblock of a store in that resource's config.lua (name, sprite hash, position). - rsg-shops: the blip fields of a
Config.StoreLocationsentry (label, coords, sprite name, scale).
Blips are kept in this browser. z is the ground height under the blip, which a blip barely needs.
