Database

Turn on to add mysql_connection_string for oxmysql.

Voice (pma-voice)

Turn on to add pma-voice convars and make sure it is started.

Pool sizes

increase_pool_size, with the RedM limits docs.fivem.net lists. A value over the limit is ignored by the server, so it is capped here.

No pool changes. Only raise one when the console tells you it is full.

Permissions (ACE)

Admins

Find identifiers in txAdmin (Players, then a player) or with GetPlayerIdentifiers(source). Paste just the value, the license: prefix is optional.

Custom rules

add_principal child parent makes the child inherit everything the parent has.

Set sv_licenseKey. Get a key at portal.cfx.re.

No admin identifier set. You will not have admin permissions.

What makes it a RedM server

Two lines: set gamename rdr3 and sv_enforceGameBuild 1491, the one RedM build docs.fivem.net lists. The stock resources are the ones the officialdefault-redm recipe starts:mapmanager, chat, spawnmanager, redm-map-one and hardcap.

Framework presets

  • VORP: the resource order, convars and ACE lines of VORPCORE/VORP_txAdmin, the recipe txAdmin itself lists.
  • RSG: the same from Rexshack-RedM/txAdminRecipe, including its rsgcore.god to rsgcore.helper permission chain.

Folder names such as [standalone] and [framework] are the folders those recipes download into. If you install by hand, keep the same folders or edit the list.

Pool sizes

RedM accepts increase_pool_size for a different set of pools than FiveM, with its own limits. The list here is the RedM column of the table on docs.fivem.net. Raise a pool only when the console says it is full.

Before you start it

  • Every resource you add needs game 'rdr3' and the rdr3_warning line in its manifest, or it will not start.
  • The license key comes from portal.cfx.re, the same as for FiveM.
  • Everything stays in your browser. The form is saved locally, separate from the FiveM generator.
