Photo Mode Converter
Turn RDR2 photo mode files (PRDR) into JPEG pictures in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Read the docsDrop PRDR photo files here
They sit in Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\<id> and start with PRDR.
Where the photos are
RDR2 on PC saves photo mode pictures in Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles, in a folder named after your profile id. Each photo is one file with a name like PRDR31155361589_1 and no extension. Pick that folder and every PRDR file in it is converted.
What it does
A PRDR file is a short header, the picture as a normal JPEG, and a block of metadata. The tool cuts the JPEG out exactly as the game saved it, so there is no second compression and no quality loss. It also reads the metadata: where you stood, the in-game date and time, and when the photo was taken.
Everything happens in your browser. The files are never uploaded.
