Resource Conflict Checker
Drop several RedM resources and see duplicate stream files, overrides of stock RDR2 files, repeated data_file lines and manifest mistakes.
Read the docsDrop resource folders or zips here
Drop your whole resources folder, or add resources one by one. Everything stays in your browser.
What it checks
- Manifests: an fxmanifest.lua with fx_version adamant, bodacious or cerulean (RedM needs one of them), a game line that includes
rdr3orcommon, and therdr3_warningline word for word. - The same stream file twice: two resources that stream a file with the same name. Only one copy is used, and which one depends on the order they start in.
- Game files you replace: stream files whose name is also a file of RDR2 itself. That is often on purpose (map edits, retextures), so it is a note, not an error. The check knows the 44,679 streamable file names of the game that carry a readable name; many more are stored only as a hash of their path, so a name that is not flagged can still be a game file.
- data_file lines: the same data file registered by two resources, the same line twice in one manifest, and lines that point at a file the resource does not have.
- Resource names: two folders with the same name, which a server cannot start both of.
How to use it
Drop your whole resources folder, or add resources one at a time as folders or zips. Nothing is uploaded. Bracket folders such as [standalone] are fine: a resource is any folder with an fxmanifest.lua in it.
